Robert J. Pelphrey, Esq.
Robert Pelphrey, Esq. has been employed at The Buchalter Law Group since
September of 2013. Robert was born and raised in Howell, New Jersey. After
graduating from Howell High School in 2004, Robert attended the University
of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW) where he majored in Political Science
and minored in International Affairs. In 2008, Robert received his Bachelor’s
degree from UNCW. Robert attended and graduated from Barry University
School of Law in Orlando, Florida in 2012.
After receiving his Juris Doctorate from Barry University and passing the
Florida Bar, Robert moved back to New Jersey to work for the Superior
Court of New Jersey Monmouth Vicinage. There, Robert completed a 1-year
clerkship for the Honorable Richard W. English in the Criminal Division.
During his clerkship, Robert studied for and passed the New Jersey Bar.
Robert is a licensed attorney in both Florida and New Jersey.
Since his employment with The Buchalter Law Group in 2013, Robert has worked
closely as an understudy to attorney Neil Buchalter in the tax, bankruptcy,
debt negotiation, and corporate workout divisions of the practice. Mr.
Buchalter has made it his mission to train Robert in his style to represent
clients with the skill, compassion and expertise that has been a standard
for his law offices for over 35 years. As an understudy of Mr. Buchalter,
Robert has gained an immense knowledge in both individual and business
tax defense, debt resolution, bankruptcy and corporate / individual financial
workouts. Robert also works with attorney Lauren Buchalter in the foreclosure
defense department and is skilled in representing clients trying to modify
their mortgages through Chapter 13 bankruptcies.
